History of OneSource Solutions

 

In 1970, Rochester Rehabilitation created a small vocational training program called The OutSource at 1000 Elmwood Avenue. In 1983, The OutSource transformed itself into an industrial work division of Rochester Rehabilitation with the goals of generating revenue and employing people with disabilities who may not otherwise be able to find work in the community. Originally, it provided light industrial bench work for local businesses and served a limited number of individuals with disabilities. Over the years, however, the division grew and expanded to meet the needs and requirements of local, regional, and national businesses including entrepreneurs, Fortune 500 companies, private sector corporations, and federal and state governments.

Today, The OutSource has rebranded itself as OneSource Solutions. It has over 40,000 square feet of open flex space, high speed shrink wrap capabilities, warehousing, inventory control, clean work rooms, and a flexible work force. Our teams average a 40-hour work week and can adjust to 24/7 with a 24- to 48-hour notice.
