Throughout its history, three values – work, wellness, and independence – have remained at the core of Rochester Rehabilitation. Working with a $7 million annual operating budget, the agency serves 3,000 people in the Greater Rochester area living with disabilities, medical behavioral health issues, and other disadvantages.
Rochester Rehabilitation, an Ability Partners agency, is proud to be one of the original founding members of the Al Sigl Community of Agencies – a collaborative partnership of non-profits committed to making a difference in the lives of people living with disabilities. It’s also a United Way Donor Designated Agency.
More than ever, self-paced learning and job search and placement resources can assist people in their quest to return to a positive and productive life. Our Virtual Resource Center, which provides computer, Internet and software access at two program locations, has helped hundreds of people explore career options, improve job skills, and develop personally meaningful goals.
To many people, wellness is an active process of becoming aware of and making good choices that are in our best interests. Wellness encompasses both the mental and physical aspects of life. Whether it’s learning to play golf after a stroke, taking job training classes, or getting one’s life back on track by setting personal goals, we have the programs and resources that can help increase your wellness.
Our mission is to maximize each person's ability to lead a full and active life by providing the highest quality services that foster physical and mental wellness, employment, and independence.
