BEGINNER DRIVER

Learning to drive?

If you're ready to get your driver's license, we can help you build the knowledge and skills needed to become a safe, confident driver. Our driver specialists work with beginner drivers of all ages and abilities, improving understanding of traffic laws, road signs, and safe driving practices. For individuals who require adaptive driving equipment, we also provide evaluations to determine equipment needs. Our specialists prepare drivers for a variety of road environments and can accompany them to the New York State DMV road test.

SENIOR DRIVER

Want to drive stress-free and safely for a long time?

Driving in busy city traffic, on expressways, at night, or in poor weather conditions can be risky. If you or your loved one has also experienced any decline in vision, reduced strength or mobility, or any physical discomfort, driving can be stressful.

Our experienced and skilled driving professionals will evaluate you or your loved one for driving ability to be safe and independent. Recommendations for modifications to your driving habits, or continued driving will be suggested.

DRIVERS WITH A MEDICAL CONDITION

Want to drive safely and confidently?

Our experienced and skilled driving professionals will evaluate your ability to start/continue to drive, create a customized program, and train you in a safe, convenient, low-stress environment. Our specialists will determine the appropriateness for adaptive equipment with the goal to help you obtain or retain your driver's license by training you in a full range of roadway environments. Based on your medical needs, there may be recommendations and training on the user of adaptive equipment.

Pete started working at DriveOn in 2019. He performs driver evaluations, driving training, and vehicle modifications for all age groups. He has experience applying a variety of interventions to individuals with special needs.
