Wheelchair Fencing
SportsNet is excited to partner with the esteemed Rochester Fencing Club (RFC) to create a new program: Wheelchair Fencing. Rochester Fencing Club is co-owned by fencing Olympians Iris and Felicia Zimmerman. Together RFC and SportsNet hope to create a Rochester-based hub for wheelchair fencing.
Free Introductory Wheelchair Fencing Lesson
Interested in trying your hand at wheelchair fencing? Try a half-hour introductory lesson, free! Sessions are led by Semion Keriakidi, RFC wheelchair fencing coach. To schedule your half-hour introductory lesson, please send an email to Coach Kiriakidi at skiriakidi@gmail.com. See the "Wheelchair Fencing Flyer" for more details.
Sessions are held at 1000 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620, Door #6 in the Physical Therapy training room.
