Stroke Rehabilitation and Support

By combining physical, occupational and speech therapies, and social work, our program helps stroke survivors regain function and mobility.

The Stroke Support Group offers stroke survivors and caregivers an opportunity to share their experiences, and offer encouragement, support and understanding to others. The group’s mission is to instill hope and help motivate stroke survivors for or in their recovery. Meetings may include guest speakers on topics such as recovery strategies; overcoming depression; nutrition; exercise; yoga and acupuncture as related to stroke; driving after stroke; insurance; local stroke initiatives, and more. A physician’s referral is not needed. Meetings are free and open to stroke survivors, caregivers and anyone who is interested in attending.
