Wherever there is an unmet need for specialized employment services, Employment Connection can provide creative solutions.

We work closely with other community partners to develop employment services to address unmet needs. An agreement with BOCES allows in-school youth to gain valuable paid work experience at our agency business group OutSource. Our summer youth employment programs employed more than 50 youth with behavioral health disabilities.

Through our partnership with the Rochester City School District’s Office of Adult and Continuing Education Services more than 60 people will receive training and job placement in health related careers to enable them to move from welfare to work. Ex-offenders also get a second chance to get back to work through our services.

In addition, our certified Public Benefits Specialist can help new employees access work incentives that help them transition off public benefits.
