Frank Cogliandro
Frank is one of the most knowledgeable driver rehabilitation professionals in New York. With more than 25 years experience, he regularly shares his knowledge and expertise. A regular contributor to several traffic safety publications, he has co-authored the Handbook for Drivers of Disabled & Elderly Passengers and Developing and Maintaining an Agency Driver Safety Program. Frank served as northeast president of the National Association for Driver Rehabilitation Specialists and as vice president of the Genesee Waterways Center board. His ardent interest in traffic safety issues of older drivers and people with a neuromuscular impairment led to his involvement with a team of researchers at the University of Rochester School of Medicine on related studies. Frank has a degree in education and is NYS Departments of Education and Motor Vehicles driver instructor certified.
As head of Physical Rehabilitation Services, Frank not only oversees DriveOn, but also directs programs in Medical Outpatient Therapy (physical, occupational and speech therapies and social work), alcohol and substance abuse education, and sports and recreation activities (SportsNet).
