SportsNet To Hold Ai Chi Try It Clinics

April 05, 2010

Have you ever wondered what Ai Chi is?

Now you can experience all the benefits of Ai Chi during one of our new Ai Chi Try It Clinic sessions!

What is Ai Chi?

Ai Chi is a simple water exercise and relaxation program performed in a warm water pool (92-94 degrees). This body-mind technique uses a combination of deep breathing and slow, broad movements of the arms, legs, and torso in flowing continuous patterns.

What are the health benefits?

Body-mind techniques such as Ai Chi can decrease heart rate and blood pressure, increase metabolism and blood circulation, encourage relaxation and decrease muscular tension. In addition, Ai Chi can enhance range-of-motion and improve balance.

Spend 30 minutes with an instructor in our warm water pool to see what Ai Chi can do for you.
