LINKUnited WayRochester Rehabilitation Receives Check from United Way for Disability Services
October 18, 2010United Way of Greater Rochester recently presented a check for $424,160 to Rochester Rehabilitaion for delivering disability services in the community.
Angela Parris, Disability Services Program Officer at United Way of Greater Rochester presented the check at an Open House event held at Employment Connection in September.
As one of United Way's partners, Rochester Rehabilitation ensures that people with disabilities living in our community can access services such as driver training and transition coaching, both of which are essential for community involvement.
"United Way believes people with disabilities are active contributors to our community and have as much to give it as they receive," remarked Parris.
