About Power Wheelchair Soccer
Power soccer is a team sport played by individuals who use power chairs with various disabilities. It is designed so that male and female participants are often on the same team, as well as opposing sides. Two teams of 4 power chair users attack, defend and maneuver an oversized soccer ball in an attempt to score on a goal. The game is similar to the non-stop action seen in a typical indoor soccer game.
Session Information
Dates: September 24, October 8, October 15, October 19*, November 5, November 19, December 3 and December 10.
Session Time: 10 a.m. to Noon (except for October 8th's Special Event 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.)
Registration Fee: $60
Location: Sessions will be held at Ninth Grade Academy at 2000 Lehigh Station Road, Henrietta, NY 14467 with the exception of October 19. That session will be held at North Tuttle Gym, 350 New Campus Dr, Brockport, 14420 at a time to be determined.
