First Annual Steve Barbato Memorial Wheelchair Basketball Tournament

Memorial Tournament in honor of late Rochester Wheels Coach to be Held Saturday, April 16 and Sunday, April 17

SportsNet and The Rochester Wheels are pleased to announce the first annual Steve Barbato Memorial Wheelchair Basketball Tournament Saturday, April 16 from 9 am to 4 pm and Sunday, April 17 from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm at the Monroe Community College (MCC) gym. In memory of coach and player Steve Barbato, this tournament will feature the Wheels and up to 5 regional teams (from Canada, Ohio, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania). A silent auction will run throughout the weekend – tickets purchased at the event gives participants a chance to win great gifts donated by local businesses. All proceeds directly support the Rochester Wheels basketball team as they continue to bring more than 30 years of regional competition and youth mentoring in wheelchair basketball.

Wheelchair basketball is fast, noisy, and exciting - so bring the whole family!

The tournament will be held at Stabins Physical Education Complex, Building 10. Park in lot G and enter the main building. The gym will be to your left.
