The Employment Connection provides an efficient, professional, “no-fee” job placement service to employers in Monroe County. Qualified applicants are matched to a business’s job requirements in positions such as secretarial, clerical, computer technology, industrial, food service, and many others.

The Employment Connection’s professional staff recruits, screens, trains, and refers applicants who have diverse backgrounds and abilities. Job candidates referred to local businesses are individuals in career transition, with disabilities or who receive public assistance.

Business Advisory Council

Employers are our customers and advisors. Numerous local employers participate in the Employment Connection’s Business Advisory Counsel (BAC).

Business participants provide the Employment Connection with updated information about vacancies, general employment trends, and participate in an annual job fair.
