Comprehensive Rehabilitation Program

The Comprehensive Rehabilitation Program provides a range of goal-oriented interdisciplinary rehabilitation services that enables individuals to achieve their optimal level of function and independence after a:

• Stroke
• Serious injury
• Spinal cord injury
• Other neuromuscular or orthopedic problems

• Physical Therapy
• Occupational Therapy
• Speech Therapy
• Social Work

are provided in one convenient location. Appointments are scheduled back-to-back on the same day so that clients don't have to wait or return another day.

The Team Approach

Physicians refer individuals to one of the Program's physiatrists (physician who specializes in rehabilitation medicine). The physiatrists and therapists meet regularly to review the individual's treatment plan and progress. The team consists of:

• Physiatrist
• Physical Therapist
• Occupational Therapist
• Speech Therapist
• Social Worker

Family Involvement

Families/caregivers are encouraged to participate in planning and treatment. Family conferences are held for education and communication among family members and staff.
