Mental Health >> Mental Health Outpatient Clinic Treatment
Outpatient Clinic Treatment helps adults of all ages find solutions to emotional and behavioral difficulties.
A primary therapist works in collaboration with a supervising psychiatrist and the client to establish a plan of treatment, which may include:
- Short or long term verbal therapies
- Family therapy
- Medication
- Linkage to community supports
The psychotherapy treatment is designed to minimize emotional distress, bolster coping with everyday problems, and improve overall quality of life.
Therapy at the Clinic involves an active partnership between client and therapist, similar to the relationship between coach and athlete.
Therapy sessions may be individual, couples, family, or group.
