SportsNet provides integrated sports and recreation opportunities for people with physical disabilities, by collaborating with community organizations.

A schedule of "try it" clinics are offered in a variety of sports, as well as ongoing programs, which promote the inclusion of people with and without disabilities to recreate together.

SportsNet serves as a clearinghouse for sports and fitness information and activities of interest to people with disabilities.

SportsNet is funded, almost entirely by grants, contributions, and program fees.

The Staff

The SportsNet staff members are professionals certified in therapeutic recreation (CTRS). Programs are conducted by experts in particular sports, recreational, or fitness activities who have been oriented to work with people with physical disabilities.
